In 1981, Mrs. Petrita and Mr. Edmundo decided to share the flavor of their family recipe by starting a small business.
As a traditional dish from Guerrero, they wanted the name of their mole to evoke the traditions and history of Mexico. Therefore, referencing Cuauhtémoc, the last Aztec emperor, they decided to name it Mole Emperador.
Today, three generations of the family have contributed to not only satisfying the taste buds of people from Guerrero but also those throughout Mexico and around the world.
Mole Rojo Emperador stands out for its select blend of chilies, cocoa, and spices, creating an exceptional culinary experience.
